Suspension setup before you spend money on parts
Most bikes ride badly because the sag is set for someone else. A $95 setup often fixes what riders try to fix with a new shock.
Questions about your bike? Call (719) 555-0147 and a person answers.
Riders come in asking for a new shock. Half of them leave with their own shock, set up properly, and a bike that finally feels right.
Start with sag
Sag is how far the bike sinks under its own weight and yours. Set for a different rider, the geometry is off before you touch a clicker.
Then the clickers
Rebound and compression damping get set for your weight and the roads you ride. We write the settings on a sheet that stays with the bike.
When parts make sense
If the springs are wrong for your weight, or the forks and shock are past their service life, we quote a respring or a rebuild. That is the order: setup, service, then parts.
Want us to do it for you? A person answers, Tuesday to Saturday.
